McCain, MacLeod, and Sample-Hughes said they didn't have enough economic information of the cost but a once a month meeting might mean additional costs for security ($20/hour) and expenses to keep the building open as well as having to pay employees that may need to come in overtime.

Matt Creamer said that employees would not be paid over-time, they would be given comp time. Additionally; it would be rare, and in very few cases this would need to be done, given they would have the other monthly day time meeting to come in.
Additionally, the cost of building to remain open and having to pay additionally for security is a bunch of crap. Currently, the first Tuesday of the month meeting that uses the chamber is the liquor board. All that would be required is the two departments switch times.
So in the end, they said in effect; "Nah, let's have quarterly meetings, like we always have." The last quarterly meeting was held in July, regarding the farm/land owners issue. Instead of voting on one night meeting a month, they motioned to ammend the resolution to quarterly meetings.
I wasn't too pleased with this circular logic and let them know under no under certain terms that I was very disappointed and I asked them "Who is it you serve?"
After the meeting John Cannon said to me: "I don't know what happened."
I think I do John. Business as usual.
So for now this issue is tabled, just like I assume the council wanted.

All I can say is; Lord help us getting the council to listen to complicated issues, when this one was supposed to be such simple logic.

After five seasons, “Entourage” finally lived up to its name this fall. While E, Turtle and Drama each enjoyed meatier storylines than normal this season, Vince’s role in the proceedings essentially amounted to an imaginary stalker and a random fuck scene of the week. I was tempted to rank Drama ahead of E but that would be underestimating just how shocked I was when E proposed to Sloan. In hindsight, maybe I should have expected it – I mean, what was so special about a lunch date at a restaurant the two of them used to go to? – but right up until E mentioned making a commitment to Sloan, I was oblivious. It was actually a pretty cool scene, capped by Sloan’s very believable reaction to the proposal. I feel almost embarrassed about the fact that I thought it was even remotely possible that they’d leave us hanging on Sloan’s answer until next season. I can’t remember an “Entourage” finale that didn’t have all the loose threads sewn up by the end of the episode, and tonight was certainly no different.
